Welcome to Afyatrack.com and AfyaTrack App, a web site owned by Afya For All Group. This Privacy Policy is designed to tell you about our practices regarding collection, use, and disclosure of information that you may provide via this site. AfyaTrack operates a digital (online and mobile) service enabling the general public (“Members”) to receive health information, advice and different health services from our portfolio of healthcare providers (the “Services”).

We developed this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) to explain how we collect, use, and disclose information from and/or about you when you use our Site or the Services.

THE SITE WILL BE COLLECTING PERSONAL, MEDICAL AND HEALTH-RELATED INFORMATION ABOUT YOU. BY USING THE SITE, YOU AGREE THAT WE CAN COLLECT AND USE YOUR PERSONAL AND OTHER INFORMATION AS DESCRIBED IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, PLEASE DO NOT USE THE SITE.

About Children.

This site is not intended for children under the age of 13. We will not knowingly collect personally identifiable information via this site from visitors in this age group. We do, however, collect information about children and babies from their parents. We ask that our users not provide information about a baby or child without first getting the parents’ consent. Some of the information that Members enter into certain fields when registering to use or using the Site will not be shared (“Restricted Data”). The type of Restricted Data that Members may submit at the Site may include:

• Name, as collected as part of registration or in a Member’s Account Information;
• Email address, as collected and verified as part of registration or in a Member’s Account Information;

How your data is used.

AfyaTrack will use your shared data for research purposes and to tailor the information, advice and services you receive. With the exception of restricted data, members should expect that the rest of the information they submit (even if it is not currently displayed) on the site, may be shared with the public in the form of de-identified information as aggregate reports on a particular research topic. No personal identifiable information will be shared in public. There are instances where a Member’s Data, including Personal Information, may be used and disclosed including, but not limited to, the following:

• AfyaTrack uses all data (open and restricted), and Site Usage internally, as needed, for research, for maintenance and operation of the Site, and to create the best possible tools and functionality for users.
• AfyaTrack use a Member’s data in the case of an emergency or other circumstance that we determine requires a member of the management team to directly contact the Member.
• AfyaTrack may share or disclose a Member’s data where required by law, authorized investigation or to comply with legal process, in compliance with Tanzania Cybercrimes Act 2015.
• In the event AfyaTrack goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another organization, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, the Data, including Personal Information, might be among the assets transferred Members will be notified via this Site of any such change in ownership or control of Personal Information.

Passive Information Collection.

If you post comments about AfyaTrack services on our site, there’s a chance we’ll publish them for editorial purposes or in promotional advertising and/or marketing materials.
